Lucy & Lily are a seal brown amd are a mother and daughter Percheron/Canadian cross team. They are very gentle, traffic safe and pull our wagons with ease.
Did you know?
A draft horse can pull 3 – 5 times their own body weight. Horses of their size are not often seen in the area which makes them very popular with our guests. They can be seen in the springtime helping us prepare the fields for planting. It is excellent excercise for them along with much needed weight bearing work that keeps their joints healthy, muscles well toned and bone density strong. These are all crucial health elements of draft horses due to their extreme weight.
